Jenny Franz Grice, "Miss Jenny" began her dance training at the young age of 5 in Irmo, SC at Southern Strutt. Throughout her years as a company member she studied with numerous master teachers and choreographers such as Nancy Giles, Ray Leeper, Dennis Caspery, Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, and Barry Lather to name a few. During that time she performed and competed at many competitions and received multiple scholarships including the Steps On Broadway young dancer scholarship and a Columbia College Dance scholarship. Jenny has also appeared in numerous commercials and print work for companies such as Belk, Quincy's, Sea Pro Boats, Friedman Jewelry, and Southern Magazines. Jenny graduated from Irmo High School and then went on to further her academic and dance studies at UNC-Charlotte where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Visual and Performing Arts. During that time she was also hired as a caption head, writing drill and choreographer for Swancee High School. While in college she continued performing for Paramount Parks in four of their main stage shows; Magical Madness, The Dancing Cactus, All Shook Up, and Retro Active, where she was a featured dancer and was able to reconnect with choreographer Barry Lather. Jenny has choreographed and taught master classes at multiple studios around the southeast while also being staffed with NCA Danz for three years where she traveled teaching and choreographing with a number of high school dance teams around the Carolinas. After traveling with dance, “Miss Jenny” became an elementary classroom teacher of 9 years in Cabarrus County Schools where she developed her true love for teaching, education and children. She then decided to make her mark and settle down in Concord, NC opening Legacy Dance Company. Since owning and being director of LDC, she has won numerous Choreography and Top Prestigious Teacher awards. In 2018, Legacy Dance Company won Inferno Nationals Dance Competitions "Studio On Fire Award”. In 2019, Legacy Dance Company was chosen to be the host studio in Charlotte, NC for the Moscow Ballet’s nation wide tour of The Nutcracker for the fourth year. Since then she has participated in “Dancing for the Arts”, which is a charity event sponsored by the Cabarrus Arts Council that funds integration of the arts into public schools. Throughout her accomplishments Jenny has also furthered her education by becoming certified in “Progressive Ballet Technique”, “Zumba” and “Acrobatic Arts”, as well as being safety certified in CPR and First Aid. Jenny is so excited to announce she will be teaching dance at Concord High School this school year. Go SPIDERS!
When Jenny is not at the studio, the high school or on the road teaching, she is home with her two children, Knox (12) and McCants (10), and her two fluff balls Charlotte and Chloe enjoying life. She also enjoys traveling, reading books, lake time, running, laughing and of course Hilton Head. She maintains the everyday duties of family madness while keeping the crazy madness of a studio running. Family is life and so is dance. None the less, with all the chaos of both, Jenny loves sharing her passion of life, dance and love with her family, friends and students.
Chloe Glass has a passion for dance education and helps her students improve their tap technique while creating a unique style and edge. Chloe has two sweet kids, Thea and Luka who she loves to spend her days with! She is excited to get back into the dance studio and share her style of tap dance with her students!
Chloe has worked alongside her brother, Harrison Culbreth for over a decade! Together they have danced both nationally and internationally, taught at some of the nations top studios, and choreographed multiple award winning dances! Chloe also trained under David Mann for nearly two decades and won numerous national titles, including a two season undefeated, perfect scoring routine. She also works at the Carolina’s newest ultimate dance competition, Endless Talent! Chloe can’t wait to see what this season brings!
